August is always a funny time of year in Brisbane with the promise of a season change in the air.

Even though it has been warmer this week, we will no doubt have that final cold snap accompanied by the blustery winds, just in time for the Ekka next week.

As winter draws to an end, we are super busy behind the scenes organising the season change at Tangled Yarns – ordering new spring yarns plus planning a new round of classes and workshops.

The shop has been buzzing this week!

We have had a mixture of classes, workshops, shopping, knitting, crochet plus we were lucky enough to have a visit from two lovely designers – Helen Stewart from Curious Handmade and Deanne Ramsay from Addydae Designs.

Biggan Design

We have received not one, but
two deliveries of Biggan Design DK Merino this week!

No doubt it will continue to fly off the shelf to become colourful creations.

Designs by Tangled

When we first launched the super squishy MillaMia back in April this year, I immediately knew that it would be ideal for the sister pattern toLittle Set of Stripes.

Over the months I have been squeezing in some tinkering with the patterns – some knew exactly what they wanted to become, others had a few false starts and some knitting, ripping & knitting.
They are all finally off the needles and Little Set of Dots is now available via Ravelry!

Little Set of Dots – a set of baby hats that all share a sweet dotty theme.
