Mother Nature keeps taunting us with the promise of winter in the cooler mornings and evenings, while the days remain balmy and beautiful. In defiance of the fickle weather, however, we’re looking forward to three whole days of knitting and crochet this long weekend.

We’ll be closed on Monday for the public holiday but our online store will be open for business as always.

In preparation for the long weekend, our regular flow of deliveries has continued. Many of our favourite yarns received a top-up this week, plus we’ve added some new goodies to brighten up our shelves!

Mystery Knit-A-Long

I spent this week catching up on Clue B and making a start on Clue C. I am not quite finished but hopefully I will get it knocked over in time for the new clue to arrive this Sunday.

The shawl is knitting up beautifully so far, and it’s great fun finding out what’s in store as each clue is unveiled.

Both Anita and I are at about the same place, heaps of fun to see it working up in the different colours.
