Ball Winders & Swifts

Another of our most sought after items at this time of year would have to be our Ball Winders andSwifts.

They really are the gift that keeps giving all year!!

Maya Muse

I am always on the lookout for new products and I couldn’t go past the amazing textiles from the talented Maya!

Maya Muse Textiles was founded in 2010 from the desire to design and make beautiful, thoughtful products which celebrate the joy of handmade.

All products are made the old fashioned way, screenprinted by hand, using hand mixed inks.

These traditional techniques and natural fibres work perfectly to complement modern, innovative prints in a delicious palette.

We are introducing Maya Muse with a selection of knit-themed square cushions and tea towels.

Square Cushions

Screenprinted by hand onto beautiful crisp 100% linen.

The Knitting cushion cover measures 40cm x 40cm and fits a standard size 18 insert.

Finished with a neat invisible zip.

Tea Towels

These quirky, playful Knitting tea towels are hand screenprinted onto quality 100% linen.

Our Maya Muse cushions and tea towels will make great gifts, and I also love the idea of using a tea towel as wrapping for a nice bottle of wine or some handmade sweet treats – two gifts in one!

On The Needles at Tangled Yarns

We’ve missed Rachel while she was in the States, but she’s back with a vengeance this week.

She has been indulging in her love for Cotton Fleece with three beautiful finished projects that showcase its range of colours and versatility – and, of course, her own talents!

Modern colour choices breathe new life into traditional patterns, as Rachel shows with this striking granny square blanket…

Maureen’s hook has been flying this week too, crocheting some beautiful handmade Christmas gifts.

Using the neutral tones of Willmark Natural 18, she made this gorgeous table cover for her dad.

  1. thanks for the great ideas!
one thing: it seems that many of the links actually contain the wrong URL, that is, they link to another project (always the same… probably the line has been cut & pasted but not updated?)
