We have been busy bees behind the scenes at Tangled Yarns…. there has been lots of organising, planning, ordering, test knitting & crocheting for the change of season!

Next Wednesday, 14th August is the Ekka public holiday for the Brisbane area, and we will be closed to give the shop a re-arrange in preparation for our lovely summer yarns.
We are bursting at the seams and need yet more shelves to store all our new goodies.

We will be posting all online orders that come through after 2pm Tuesday on Thursday 15th August.

Thankfully, we have a small reprieve from the constant yarn deliveries this week to recover from the huge shipments received in previous weeks. This will give us a chance to make extra room for our beautiful new lines that will be hitting the shelves in the next few weeks.

I can’t wait to share with you all we have in store for the coming weeks and months….

Social Groups

One of the great perks of being lucky enough to live in Brisbane is being able to pop into our social meet ups!

We have three different gathering times during the week, but youare always welcome to visit and spend time on the lounge at any time or day. We have social groups that meet Wednesday mornings from 10am until 1pm, Thursday evenings from 5pm until 8pm, and Saturday is a fabulous all day social group from 9am until 4pm.

Our social groups are free to attend, and we have a wide range of crafters of different ages and experiences. Social groups are a great opportunity to share and inspire each other, and have a general relax and de-stress.

We have coffee & tea, along with some delicious treats available for purchase. If you follow us on Facebook, you will have noticed that we have had some extra special treats over the past few months. Our amazing Jodie has been cooking up a storm with a variety of yummy sweet and savoury options, including some gluten free choices!
