Wow…we are still recovering from the whirlwind that was last week – magazines, yarn deliveries & competitions!

This week has been much of the same – another 500+ skeins of yarn have hit the shop and more shipments are winging their way to us as I type.

Week one of the Queensland school holidays is almost over and we have had in influx of keen junior knitters visiting the store to pick up some holiday knitting.

With this in mind I have whipped up a quick, colourful scarf which would make the idea project for the budding knitter.

Using a single ball of our Noro Taiyo, a skein of our Cascade Baby Alpaca Chunky and a set of needles you can create a squishy accessory.

We have a couple of kits ready to go in store or you can download a copy of the pattern from Raverly.

Lilly Brush

We are ecstatic to launching a very special new product this week…

Lilly Brush!!

Pills on cotton, wool, and cashmere send our favourite woollies to an early grave – but now we can end this carnage with Lilly Brush.

Equal parts scientific, fashion, and emotional breakthrough, Lilly Brush is like a magic wand with nylon bristles.

Try it for yourself – then take that beloved sweater out of the donation pile and put it back where it belongs – on your fully-delighted self.

Lilly Brush is a fabric pill removal brush that restores and rejuvenates natural fiber clothing while doubling as a static-fighting pet hair and lint remover for all clothing and upholstery. Designed with a compact houndstooth carry cover, Lilly Brush is sleek and fits into a purse or jacket. Made to last for years, Lilly Brush is an eco-friendly solution to sticky rollers and sweater shavers – requiring no refills or batteries ever!

Lilly Brush works on all natural fibres including cotton, cashmere, wool, hemp, angora and alpaca. The specially designed nylon bristles will not snag or make holes on even the most delicate knits. For washable fabrics, Lilly Brush can be dampened before use to eliminate static.

Lilly Brush is easy to use. Just apply moderate pressure while sweeping Lilly Brush across your garment in any direction to make short work of pills, pet hair, lint and light soil. To clean Lilly Brush, simply was with light soap, rinse, and tap briskly to remove excess water. Lilly Bush won’t disappoint as a quick alternative to those sticky roller and lint brushes you love to hate!

The lovely Clara Parkes from The Knitter’s Review wrote a review about the Lilly Brush recently.
