We have been patiently waiting for several lovely large shipments of yarn to arrive, sadly it looks like they won’t hit the shop this week.

Embracing the small breather from the constant flow of yarns, this week we are all about the little things that make your knitting & crochet that bit extra special….

SOAK

After a long journey, our latest shipment from SOAK landed this week. Our wall of SOAK has been topped up…almost to the roof!

tangledYARNS

We have plenty of stock of our favourites plus a new fragrance…Yuzu!

For those of you not familiar with SOAK it is modern care for fine fibres.

This rinse-free formulation is perfect for washing your laciest lingerie, your softest sweaters, swimwear, workout gear, hand-made quilts and even baby clothes.

Soak is gentle and deliciously scented with fabric-friendly ingredients that revitalise fibres so they look great and last longer.

Love it.
Wear it.
Soak it.

Yuzu

tangledYARNS

Yuzu is SOAKs latest fragrance.
Full of tart citrus + crushed eucalyptus, you’re sure to love Yuzu.

Currently you’ll find Yuzu in 90ml bottles of Soak, as well as in our Elvis Paisley Soakboxes.

Aquae

Aquae is a “purely elemental” scent that’s like a breath of fresh sea air, this crisp, refreshing scent will make you think of white cotton sheets snapping in the salty breeze.

Celebration

Sweet, delicate and absolutely delicious, this perennial favorite smells like good, clean, fun.

Scentless

Scentless, for your sensitive side.

Lacey

Pretty, gentle and totally sweet, Lacey is perfect for luxe fabrics and fabulous frills. This modern scent combines spring blossoms with sweet bergamot creating a light yet alluring fragrance.

Soakboxes

May your hands be soft, fibres fresh and nails match your knits….

GEM Markers

This week I am super excited to announce a new Tangled line – the most beautiful stitch markers…

GEM Markers : like jewellery for your knitting!

tangledYARNS

I don’t know about you but stitch markers are an incredibly important part of my knitting tool kit.

They keep my stitches in check and organised, I use them for everything from marking the beginning of the round to marking individual lace sections so I know if I am off track before getting all the way to the end of a row.

Our GEM markers are all hand made by my very talented friend using the highest quality materials.

We have selected coated copper rings. The copper has been silver plated for strength followed by a colour layer and then a plastic coat to seal that stunning colour in.

Ring colours do tend to vary from one batch to another, sometimes there are significant variations. So, much like hand dyed yarns, if you see a colour you love it is best to grab it!

The highest quality Japanese seed beads have been sourced to co-ordinate with the colours of the coated rings.

tangledYARNS

Most knitters prefer stitch markers which are just slightly bigger than the needles they are working with so 4 sizes are available:

GEM Markers

tangledYARNS

Large – which comfortably fit needles up to 6.50 mm

Medium – which comfortably fit needles up to 4.00 mm

Small – which comfortably fit needles up to 3.50 mm

Teency – which comfortably fit needles up to 3.00 mm

Our single colour tins contain 10, single coloured rings and multi-mix tins contain 10 rings of varied colours.

welcome spring Japanese Flower Crochet workshop on this very motif!

Apparently Lauren wanted to play with our Noro this week. On Saturday she whipped up a Maurice by Lee Meredith in our Cascade Eco Alpaca {#1524 Oatmeal} and Noro Silk Garden Lite {#2080}…I simply love this and may just have to copy her….

After a splash of colour to brighten up her winter wardrobe and not wanting to make the usual suspects, Lauren decided a Dizzy Lizzy by Arlene’s World of Lace in our Noro Taiyo {#31} was required.
