It looks like we have a wet end to the holidays with plenty of rain predicted for the weekend….ideal conditions to snuggle in with some yarn, a hot cup of tea and a good read.
Whatever you are up to this long weekend, stay dry, stay safe if you venture out & about and most importantly enjoy time doing something that makes you happy.
We have lots of exciting news to share with you again this week – settle in!
A little bit of what we have loved this week…
Stradbroke by Deanne Ramsay (crochet)
Cameo by Paulina Popiolek (knit)
Blooming Baby Blanket by Natalie Gowen (crochet)
Piccole Onde by Kelly Straub (knit)
Over the past almost 4 years we have fielded requests almost daily to purchase
Each time I explain that the ‘sample’ garments are actually my children’s clothes
We are also very careful to explain that the patterns are licensed by the designers
However I do understand that many know how to knit but not crochet and vice versa, and that time can sometimes be against us…and we certainly embrace the giving handmade!!
So with this in mind I am excited to announce a new edition to the Tangled Yarns family…..
Our own Tangled Yarns designs will also feature in our Tangled Handmade goodies.
Many of you may recall seeing some adorable little blankets that Alice was working on towards the end of last year. One of the first designers on our list was of course the amazingly talented Lucy from Attic 24.
Over the coming weeks we will add to our collection of items for Tangled Handmade, revealing the designs that will be lovingly made by the Tangled Yarns team.
Designs will include baby cardigans, booties and hats, blankets, bunting plus a few extra little surprises along the way.

|Whats on the Needles at Tangled Yarns
This week it has all come together and I simply couldn’t wait to share it with you!
Now the only question is where can I find a light of my own!?
It has been some time since I last knit socks but I couldn’t resist making these ones for my mum.
I love the quirky twist of alternating the main colour and contrast colour on each sock and the super sweet heart on each heel.
Sadly the majority of our Tosh Sock has flown out the door but some of the new colours I just added to our Heritage Sock would be ideal if you are keen to make your own pair of Love Socks!
|Australia Day Long Weekend|
We will be closed on the public holiday Monday 28th January.
As always our online store will remain open and all online orders will be processed and shipped when we return on Tuesday.
