tangledYARNS

Many of our classes have been full to the brim and some even overflowing from our usual tables into the lounge.

We just adore to see so many fantastic projects on the go.

tangledYARNS

Our Spring / Summer yarns are continuing to be a huge hit!
tangledYARNS

So much so that I have ordered yet more stock. We have several huge shipments in transit due to arrive in days…(I might be stalking the tracking numbers daily)

In the meantime I am madly trying to finish my many projects on the needles before I am tempted by any of the new colours.

Knit.Wear
As predicted the latest issue of the hit magazine Knit.Wear flew off the shelves, selling out in 48hrs!

tangledYARNS

I have a new shipment of both this issue (Fall 2012) and the previous issue (Spring 2012) on the way.

If you would like to pre-order a copy of either (or both) issues please email tangled@tangledyarns.com.au.

Another customer project, this time by our lovely Liz.

She was smitten with this colour (#124) in our Noro Kureyon and decided that it needed to be a blanket.

tangledYARNS

The pattern is Sunny Spread by Ellen Gormley. Liz has used our Noro Kureyon for the centre circles and our Cascade 220 Worsted (#2426 – Cherry) for the surrounds.

Earlier this week we were delighted to have one of our much loved regulars back from 6ths in France!

Aline left Australia with several wips on the needles so we had a great little catch up and checked out some finished projects.

This is a Stripe Study Shawl by Veera Valimaki in our Cascade Heritage Silk (colours #5644 Lemon & #5631 Charcoal)

Looks like our Derrin caught the Liesl bug!

tangledYARNS
Unable to resist the stunning colours in our Cascade Ultra Pima she has whipped up the perfect Springtime cardigan.

The pattern is Liesl by Ysolda Teague with the similar mods to my previous projects.

Also finished in for Derrin this week is an adorable Bolero from a sweet little Japanese book.

Derrin has used our Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in colour #585 – Wolverine Blue.

Kim has been on a scarf kick this week with two off her needles / hooks.

For a pop of colour she has used our Cascade Ultra Pima Fine in #3702 – Pink Sapphire to make a Skinny Grey Scarf by Cynalune.

And for those days when you need something more neutral – a One Row Lace Scarf by Turvid in our Cascade Ultra Pima Fine in # 3718 – Natural.

tangledYARNS

I have been enjoying adding light little layers to my Spring / Summer wardrobe and have added yet another (and it won’t be my last!!) Liesl by Ysolda Teague.

This one is in our Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece and I think it might be my favourite yet.

tangledYARNS
I have used two skeins of # 725 – Butter Cream and gone for a slightly shorter cropped length this time to go over a particular dress.

tangledYARNS

Although it looks pretty cute with jeans and a simple white singlet too.
