This stunning collection of patterns by Alana Dakos of Never Not Knitting and Hannah Fettig of Knit Bot is just amazing – a collection of ten designs, which have been inspired by the California and Maine coastlines.

All of the designs are inspired by Alana & Hannah’s favourite local destinations and each pattern is accompanied by a little information behind the area and why it is so special to each designer.

There is a wide range of patterns included in the book with both sweaters and accessories featured, meaning there’s something for everyone!

The photography on each page takes you away to the coast and you feel like you’re on a little knitting holiday!

Whats On the Needles at Tangled Yarns

Anita couldn’t resist our first shipment of Cascade Ultra Pima and quickly cast on a Liesl by Ysolda Teague for her little Miss A.

To modify the adult pattern to fit a 4 year old Anita has cast on for the 34″ size with a 4.5mm needle to give a finished 26″ garment.

Our lovely Lauren is heading off on an exciting trip to Japan shortly.

She has just whipped up a Bulky Mobius Cowl by Haley Waxberg in our Malabrigo Rasta to combat the cold!

I didn’t quite get my cardi finished in the week that I had hoped but I managed to cast off and block my Soay by Gudrun Johnston earlier this week!

The yarn is our Cascade 220 Superwash Sport and has been the ideal weight, I have been enjoying wearing it over my summer dresses.

It really is cardigan season for me… This week I cast on another little cotton blend cardi to co-ordinate with my summer dresses –Water’s Edge Cardigan by Hannah Fettig in our
Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece.
