It is hard to believe that it is Friday afternoon again….the week has been a whirlwind of colour and texture with yet more Autumn yarn deliveries arriving!
I have also been pouring over shade cards making final decisions on some delightful new Winter yarns. There is sure to be a continuous flow of yarn over the next few months.
The shop has been buzzing with social knitters making the most of the start of the system.
Our bursting at the seams class calendar has certainly been keeping us on our toes.
Don’t forget our first Colourwork Workshop with Biggan Dups is at the end of this month!
After finishing my Colour Me Pretty Hat by Elena Nodel I have been itching to cast on some more colourwork and with my love of buttons I think Hendreary by Ysolda Teague (Whimsical Little Knits 3) will be ideal.
|Knit / Crochet A Long
With Colourwork being the so hot right now I have included a few colourwork ideas in this weeks Knit A Long / Crochet A Long pattern suggestions.
Hats are a great way to get a taste of colourwork without committing to a huge, possibly overwhelming project.

|On the Needles at Tangled Yarns|
It was lovely to receive so many wonderful comments when our regular ‘On the Needles at Tangled Yarns’ section wasn’t in the newsletter last week.
We had such a huge week with so many deliveries I thought I would hold back the projects for this week or it would have been an information overload.
I love that you missed our sharing!
Tanya popped in to show me the most adorable little cardi she had finished for her daughter.
Finished wonderfully with one of our buttons.
(Sadly we are sold out of Pashmina….keep an eye out for new of our new shipments soon!)
She also has a Dipped Infinity Scarf by Laura Chau (knit) in her own hand dyed yarn from one of my DyeDay Workshops earlier in the year.
I have been wearing it constantly since it dried after blocking and adore it!
I may be tempted to cast on another….
