Remembrance Day

Today was Remembrance Day – Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of the armistice which ended the First World War (1914-1918).

I am wearing the below knitted poppy in honour of those that gave their life or suffered for Australia’s cause in all wars and armed conflicts.

Gift Vouchers

Not too sure what you want for Christmas?

A popular choice for both giving and receiving at Tangled Yarns is our Gift Vouchers! You can purchase them in store, over the phone and online and we are able to either post the voucher or email a copy – whichever is more convenient for you.

tangledYARNS

If you’re purchasing online, please check out the amount required for your gift voucher i.e. $120 voucher would be 12 gift vouchers. If you are buying multiple gift vouchers in the one order, please let us know how much for each person.

Our gift vouchers are valid for three months, but if it is for a Christmas present, we will extend the expiry date so you or your loved one has plenty of time to pick out some yarny goodness!

Ashford

As we are an Ashford supplier, we are always happy to order Ashford products that we don’t stock for you.

We had a bit of a mix up on our latest custom order and received two drum carders instead of one!

This Drum Carder is for coarse fibres (stronger wools or fibre with more vegetable matter) and an adjustable drum clearance which allows you to set the teeth distance for total control of your fibre.

All nylon bearings ensure it is light and easy to turn. The card cloth has wire teeth with a special protective coating and a flexible rubber backing for long life. The carder is strong and robust with the body made from Silver Beech hardwood. The carder has rubber feet to prevent it slipping. It comes assembled and lacquered ready to use.

This product is for sale for $450.00, usually retailing for $500.00.

As it is a heavier item than we normally stock, we will need to charge actual postage – please contact us for a quote.

Classes

Our last set of Thursday evening classes begin 24th November with one of our favourites – Learn to Crochet!

This class runs over three lessons, 24th November, 1st December and 8th December from 6-8pm

This would be a great early Christmas present for someone or if you like a challenge, learn to crochet some washcloths for some stocking stuffers.

We will be running Technical Support classes throughout December for those last minute problems that creep up with the frantic festive crafting.

Keep an eye out on our class calendar for all the latest dates.

Bookings are essential for all of our classes

Please phone the store on 07 3666 0276 or email ustangled@tangledyarns.com.au
to book into any of our classes.
