Launch Off!

Wow! What a day!!

Opening day finally arrived for tangled YARNS.

It was so wonderful to meet so many of you today, please forgive me if I don’t remember all of your names! What a crazy, crazy day!

At one stage there was a line up for the register halfway down the store and almost 3/4 of the store shoulder to shoulder full of people!

Managed to survive the launch in one piece and we closed the doors behind the last happy customers at around 3:30pm.

There was a decent sized dent put our stock today! Good thing we have shipments on the way to replenish plus a few orderes that didn’t make it in time. (including my buttons!)

Now to regroup and prepare for tomorrow…
Thanks again to all that made the effort to visit the store today, it was a pleasure to meet you all – hope to see you back soon.

And a very special thanks to my amazing family and friends for all of their help and support – I couldn’t have done it without you!!!

  1. This looks like one of the most exciting (of not THE most exciting) things to happen in Australian contemporary knitting for a long time. Can’t wait for the online store, but good decision to be the perfectionist from the start. Good luck!Ailsa

  3. Congratulations. I look forward to coming to the shop – on the street and online.BTW, does any body know where I can quickly procure a copy of Knitter’s magazine Spring 2007 issue 86? I specifically want the Loden Mist cardigan pattern by Nancy Marchant. If I could buy the download that would be great. Thanks again and congrats. Groovy looking shop. About time.Good Luckkoula
